Saqr Mashhor Ereiqat is a consultant focusing on fintech, blockchain solutions, healthcare, and innovation management. A thirteen-year veteran of IBM in Middle East and Africa, he is the former Head of Public Sector Consultancy in Dubai, where is recognized as a pioneer in enterprise blockchain, being a co-author of the first IBM blockchain for government methodology and helped define the official government blockchain strategy of Dubai. While at IBM, Saqr led projects in 23 countries across Europe, Middle East & Africa where he worked with both public and private sector entities to define, create, and implement their blockchain strategies. Kunal is a payments professional with 15 years of industry experience, currently driving Stripe's regional expansion across the Middle East and North Africa, including their recent launch in UAE. Global Head of Retail Banking at ADIB. He joined the bank in 2013 with over

market. He has achieved growth in excess of past performance and above market

Olivier Crespin is the
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zand. Since taking on this role in
2018 he has focused on leveraging hybrid digital banking strategies to
establish Zand as the first fully digital bank in the region to combine both
retail and corporate banking. Crespin brings over 20 years of extensive
expertise and leadership roles in digital banking and FinTech across Latin
America, the USA and Asia. He recognises the need for a customer-centric

Petr Klimes is the group marketing director and
co-head of Digital of ADIB. He joined the bank in 2008 with over 20 years of
experience in the banking industry.
Petr Klimes is responsible for building ADIB’s unique brand platform
showing that the benefits of ethical finance are for everyone. Through brand
development and research, and inclusive marketing strategies, Petr has
successfully made ADIB the first to position Islamic banking as an inclusive
offering based on the ethics of Islam.
In 2008, he led ADIB’s rebranding exercise, which started with the
forward-positioning brand study and culminated with the introduction of the
bank’s new positioning and brand identity in 2010.
Additionally, Petr co-leads the execution of ADIB’s digital strategy to

Bader Sater is the Chief Operating Officer of Bahrain FinTech Bay. Prior to joining FinTech Bay, Bader was the Program Manager at C5 and ran the Cloud10 Program, which was Bahrain’s first cloud accelerator built in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Labor Fund (Tamkeen) and the Economic Development Board of Bahrain (EDB).
Before joining C5, Bader was a Senior Executive at the EDB, where he was part of the Business Development team. Over the past five years, Irina has been focusing on emerging technology being introduced or developed alongside the traditional business models. She regularly advises in relation to all aspects of emerging businesses, including regulatory framework, capital-raising as well as matters relating to contractual arrangements such as software and technology licensing, consultancy, and contracts for supply and maintenance of hardware and equipment.
Joel Dietz is a serial entrepreneur and intellectual historian who helped found several key initiatives in the cryptocurrency space, including Ethereum, MetaMask, the first smart contract educational channel, and the first academic work on cryptoeconomics. His research interests focus on the confluence of blockchain network topologies and swarm intelligence, especially how the principles undergirding decentralized organizations can be used to fuel global innovation.He also works on holonic philosophy, the evolution of jurisprudence, data-driven approaches to innovation, and smart city data architecture. Dietz works with MIT Connection Science, a cross-disciplinary effort, drawing on the strengths of faculty, departments and researchers across the Institute, to decode, analyze, predict and interpret trends in this new environment. Its aim is to help executives, entrepreneurs and policymakers open up new possibilities by providing deeper insights into improving lives in an ever-changing, hyper-connected world.
